** Don't forget to bring your own bags & remind the cashier to give you 5¢ back on each bag you bring in & use. This doesn't have to be the reusable bags it can be plastic bags from any store. I roll my used plastic bags then store them in empty tissue cubes. I keep a cube full of bags in my car so that if I forget my reusable bags I at least have these plus they are always handy when you have kids. When your plastic bags get holes don't forget to recycle them at Albies! **

  1. I was looking over your Albertson's list, and I noticed that you said that you never pay for hand soap. I have been couponing for a few mos now. I will never have to pay for deodorant, toothpaste, and very little on hair products.

I have not seen any good coupon match up sale deals for hand soaps. I usually just buy the equate big bottle at Wal-Mart. I like the idea of free, though!!! LOL! Where do you get your coupons for the hand soap, and how are you able to get it for free?

    Thanks!

I do not have an Albertson's by me. I have a Pick N Save, Wal-Mart, Target, and Wags

  2. I have been couponing for a few months now. I have not seen any great coupon/sale match ups for hand soap. I usually just buy the big bottle of Equate brand at Wal-Mart. I have seen a lot of Softsoap MC's, but not to the point where it would be free. Not even close actually. How are you able to get all of your hand soap for free? I like free!!! LOL! I do not have an Albertson's by me. I have a Pick N Save, Wal-Mart, Target, and Wags.

  3. Hi, Penny Scents! I have tons of the Softsoap that I get for FREE after a 35¢ is tripled. Do a search of my blog for Softsoap and you will see all the different coupons that I have used for FREE soap but mainly it was the 35¢. Did you do the Softsoap Ensembles deal at Target where they pay you for hand soap?? You can check it out by clicking the Target logo in my right sidebar.
HTH, if not let me know!

  4. Thank you for your reply. I went and looked at the Target deal. Great deal! I left a comment there too. Unfortunately, I do not have any store in my area that does trpl Q's. The only dbl Q deal that I have in my area is at Pick N Save, 5 MC's up to $1 in value can be dbld up to $2 max. with a $25. purchase. I have a checker that is just great (she's the manager too). I do multiple transactions. I have everything organized b4 I get there, though. I know what I am putting up for each transaction, what coupons I will be using for that transaction, what I will be spending, etc... I give her the coupons for each transaction paper clipped together, and the money. I put everything up while she does the rest. The total has to be $25. b4 Q's. I buy things that I do need (only on sale) and then add in the dbl MC's whenever it pays too. I save a lot of money, but I really wish that there was a store in my area with a better Q incentive.

  5. Hi, Penny Scents! That stinks that you don't have a store that doubles/triples like I do. Looks like you are on it at Pick N Save though - good job! If you want to take the time to write your local grocery stores corporate offices a letter or email or even a phone call it might be worth it in the long run if you can get enough people to do the same. It never hurts to ask and the squeaky wheel gets the oil - just be polite because you can attract more flies with sugar than water. That's enough of my Mom's sayings for tonight. Nite-nite & good luck!
