Tom Thumb 03/04 - 03/10/09

Click here to view a post about Tom Thumb's coupon policy.

A few things are post worthy this week, if it’s not a fantastic deal and/or if it doesn’t have a coupon match-up then I am not going to post it. You can refer to your ad with the link at the end of the match-ups for other non-coupon deals.

Here are the best deals that I see going on:

* Special Promotions *

~ Chill Out at Home Promo
Spend $25.00 on select frozen foods and get a $10.00 Catalina to use on future frozen food
Valid 02/25 – 03/31/09
(Look for tags in freezer section for participating products)
I am not a frozen food shopper, so I haven’t taken the time to work up any deals but a fellow blogger, Saving with Shellie, wrote a great post where she got $25.35 worth of frozen food for $12.27 then got back her $10 catalina for a grand total of $2.27!

Here is what she wrote:
“Here is the best Randall’s (Safeway) Chill Out scenario I can come up with. Many of you state you can’t double multiple like coupons so I put this list together using one of each type coupon. But you could get an even sweeter deal if you purchase the cheaper items and use multiple like coupons.
The Scenario
● Get 1 Kashi Frozen Entree - $4.49
● Get 2 Michael Angelou’s Frozen Entrees - $3.79 (x2)
● Get 1 Taipei Frozen Entree - $2.50
● Get 1 Box of Green Giant Veggies - $2.29
● Get 1 Boston Creme Pie Toaster Strudel - $2.00 (**Note: This flavor is the only one that is $2. Other flavors are $2.50 and not all qualify for the promo)
● Choose 1 of these:
○ 1 New York Brand Texas Garlic Toast - $2.50
○ 1 Lean Pockets - $2.50
● Choose 1 of these:
○ 1 Bag Voila Dinner - $3.99
○ 1 Package Skinny Cow Treats - $3.99
Total = $25.35

Use Coupons
● Free Kashi Entree HERE - $4.49 (They mail it to you but it comes quick)
● BOGO Michael Angelou’s Entrees HERE - $3.79 (Register and they email it to you)
● $.50/1 Taipei Frozen Entree (SS 1/25)
● $1/1 Green Giant Product HERE
● $.35/1 Toaster Strudel (SS 2/8)
● $.40/1 New York (RP 3/1) OR $.40/1 Lean Pockets (Jan. All You Magazine)
● $1/1 Voila HERE OR $1/1 Skinny Cow (Jan. All You Magazine)
Total Coupons (with doubles/triples) = $13.08

Total Out of Pocket: $25.35 - $13.08 = $12.27
-Receive Coupon for $10 off your next frozen food purchase.
Final Price = $2.27

If your store will double like coupons, I would recommend printing as many of the Green Giant coupons as you can. Or using the Toaster Strudel to get the best deal.
For example, using the coupons above:
● 1 Kashi + 2 Michael Angelou’s + 7 Boston Creme Toaster Struder = $.79 Final Price after all coupons
● 1 Kashi + 2 Michael Angelou’s + 6 Green Giant Boxed Veggies = $1.53 Final Price after all coupons
Be sure to check your store’s tags to make sure these items qualify in your region. Let me know if you come up with any great scenarios!”
