Confused??? Click here
This is something I'm confused with, when you double a coupon you're supposed to have 2 of those coupons right? I've done it this way before and the other night the cashier told me only one coupon per item and they would double them anyway. I live closer to the Kroger on altamesa, but do go to the one on Hulen sometimes.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it not encouraged to combine e-coupons with paper coupons?
Hi, Chrystal! No you don't need 2 coupons to for them to double just one and it doubles in value, get it?? So if you shop at stores that double then a 50¢ coupon would actually be a $1 coupon and a 35¢ coupon would be $1.05 or up to the value of the item. The cashier is right you can only have one coupon for each item you have so if you have (2) items that are $1 and (2) 50¢ coupons then you are set, both items will be FREE after the double. The Kroger on AM is crazy, they will only dbl/tpl (1) of the same coupons but Hulen will do (3). Meaning if you have (2) 50¢ coupons that you want to double at AM you will have to do separate transactions - that is if they will let you. Drive the extra 7 minutes to Hulen they are nicer and the store is too!
ReplyDeleteIt is not encouraged because they are both manufacturer's coupons therefor you are using (2) coupons on one item & that's a no-no. You can do it because the system doesn't recognize the e-coupon as matched to any item and takes the scanned coupon as the only coupon matched to the item. Some sites tell you to do it and I used to as well but then I read some info from Cellfire where they explained why not to do it, it's up to you but I am sure that in the next year or so they will catch on and put a stop to it anyway. I hope that makes since if not email me back or leave another comment.
Hi Hollie,
ReplyDeleteI just went to Kroger. None of the Right Guard deodorant was on sale. Is it at your Kroger? I live in Richardson.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Hi, Jennifer! Actually I don't know if my store has them on sale, I saw it on another blog and posted it just in case they were on sale. The blog that posted it lives in Mansfield, I think. You could contact her about it if you would like, her info is below the deal. HTH!
